On a beautiful sunny day last June, I visited Jean Pierre's studio/farm in Uxbridge, Ontario. Already a fan of his work, I knew I would find a lot of wonderful art, however I did not expect to be as enchanted as I was. As I wandered around his studio I felt like a kid in a candy store!
Everywhere I turned there were structures of all shapes and sizes constructed from various types of recycled metal, including bicycle parts, farm implements and steel oil drums. From the ten foot moose to the multi-color fish and the dogs and bunnies with bones, Jean Pierre Schoss' fun, funky metal art will put a smile on every face.
